  • Beyond the Idols: Krauser

    Beyond the Idols: Krauser

    Preface

Krauser made major contributions to Daygame, both in theory and in fostering the community itself. A true pioneer and giant of our cult (if you want to call it that). We wouldn’t be here without him, and this is an indisputable fact.

However, in your progression as Daygamer you should eventually cut ties and see him for who he truly is: a human, not an idol. Because to prosper, you must eventually cut off from all influences.

There is an effect that such strong personalities have that they warp people in their view of morality and lifestyle. Such a thing is documented in John Bodi’s books (albeit pathologically).

I personally had some struggle disassociating from Krauser, endlessly comparing stats and achievements. At times, even applying part of his Game where it was not the best idea to do so, just for the thrill of emulation and competition (dick size contest in pure English).

This article will provide criticism, but only insofar as you can free yourself from the gravity of their personalities. It is not meant as demonization or an end-all, be-all critique. So bear this in mind.

    Krauser

Krauser was the person who had the most influence on me personally. I never gravitated to other PUAs, and from context, our personalities were a natural match, hence a tailored mentor for my journey.

In particular, his books, Daygame Mastery, Daygame Infinite and the first memoir – Balls Deep – should be mandatory reading for every Daygamer, if not PUA in general. Well, then let’s get into it.

    He started incredibly Beta

This is all over Balls Deep and parts of other memoirs. Of course, such influence has dissolved by the time we reach Daygame Mastery in 2014. The main culprits are as follows:

    • Slow dates.
    • Taking too much pleasure in intermediate results (nudes, kisses, dates, etc.) that are not sex.
    • And worst of all: developing long game.

All these points are exaggerated in the Black girl he was chasing in Balls Deep. Which makes a nice story, but at the end of the day is an exercise in tail chasing.

Now, being Beta is not a sin, we all start like that, but emulating or taking parts of his journey is bad when you are not in that spot yourself. His tactic of intermediate results works well for keeping engaged with the art of Daygame until mastery, but for you, the student, disassociate the points that are there for authenticity and narrative from the actual good theoretical points.

Most of his early escapades are just nice stories aimed at highlighting personal development.

He lived in a different world

The thing that people missed is that the world of 2010-2015 (or the pre-first Trump era, where Zog had not amplified his attacks) was not a slightly different epoch; they were a different planet entirely.

Back then, there were no dating apps, the Gender war was more moderate, people were way more outgoing and open (destroyed since Covid entirely), immigration hadn’t flattened everything yet, and people were generally more positive.

In particular, in terms of SMP we can summarize it in the following graph:

    Obesity rates by counties

If we include overweights, most countries have increased fatty rates by about 10-20% in the last 15 years. Just consider how much value this adds to thin pussy in terms of market price. Nowadays, just being thin is probably the only requirement to being a 7. Imagine wanting to consider proportions or other metrics.

In short, the sociological and physiological conditions were much better than the craphole we live in now. You simply cannot compare your conditions now with his back then. In particular, and worst of all, Gen Z right now ranges from moderately to fully retarded (depending on where you live). All the vitality and lust for life has left these empty bodies. At its worst, you have this. Most of the adventures he describes in his books don’t exist right now. I am sorry. This type of girl just doesn’t exist right now.

    The narratives are constructed

If you are reading his memoirs, then the narratives are constructed. No harm in literary perspective; we all much appreciate a better book, but the comparison is unfair. His books roughly follow this:

    • Up to banging a 10/10 (book 1)
    • Inner game growth (book 2)
    • Mad adventure year (book 3)
    • Peak game and publishing career (book 4)

But these narratives have been inserted post fact. The same is true for the hero’s journey that Bodi even admits to.

Living that life was probably hellish and directionless more often than not. And this is not discussed; a backbone of direction is inserted via sleight of hand in the memoirs. This wasn’t the case in the real story.

Krauser even admits it at the end of the first memoir: he was far more unhappy than happy for the first two years. And any happiness he got afterwards was not from becoming good at Game; it was from mental introspection.

    The results are rigged

He has a post somewhere that all PUA results are peaks, while the reality on the ground is mostly failure with rare glimpses of success. Infields are inevitably cherry-picked.

Same is true for statistics and his statistics in particular. I am not sure he clarifies it anywhere, but when he claims lays in his Daygame stats, that is all the lays he got in that year, not the Daygame-only lays.

A clear example is here from 2015:

He admits at least one of those was a tinder lay

In particular, his results are lifestyle optimized, take this account from 2013 stats:

The difference from 1/50 to 1/20 is massive, as there is an efficiency claim of more than 150% improvement. Go to London with the same skill set as him, and you will feel like a goose in comparison.

I will stress this again. Nothing wrong with Krauser; he did the best he could given his circumstances. If you make unfair comparisons between yourself and him, that is on you, not him.

    Stop following post 2015

Read his story past memoir 5, and you will see pure madness. I refer to his 2015 stats account (or memoir 5). Eurojoints of as low as 3 days. Alternating between UK and Europe over 2-week intervals.

    • Makes nice stories: check ✓
    • Is pure madness that you should not try to emulate: also check ✓

All the theoretical straight line of improvement (hero’s journey) falls apart here. Six years of PUA lifestyle, and the result was aimless wandering? That is not linear progress, or progress at all, depending on how you count.

He even touched on such dangers in Daygame Infinite. But madness is madness, literary value aside.

    He associates with Brooding Sea

“Show me your friend, and I will tell you who you are”

    • Do I know Brooding Sea? No.
    • Can I attest of his skills? Also No.
    • Do I believe him? No.

In short, if you want to make such hard claims of results, quality, and everything you can get from life, you should have evidence to back it up.

Brooding Sea has no such evidence, so bullshitter alarm goes ringing. The only thing he has to market himself is elitism and his association with Krauser.

He might be the big thing; I don’t know. But from what he posses online, he is probably not, and hence Krauser associating with him should ring some alarms about his character as well.

  • Mindfulness in Daygame: Being in the Moment and Vibe

Mindfulness in Daygame: Being in the Moment and Vibe

Crazy idea to bring mindfulness to this blog. I don’t personally advocate or actively practice it, but some fundamental concepts are particularly important for Game and we will cover them. Before anything, let’s put everything in order.

    Basic Summary

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your focus on what is called “here and now”, the present moment. Take a moment… breathe… pause and focus on your toes of your legs, move them around… maybe now focus on the feeling of the air in your skin… you can feel it, warm and soft right? Focus on the sounds and the images around you… turn off your brain and just observe. This is the “here and now” – the present moment.

By doing this, assuming you sufficiently turned off your brain from its logical functions, you should feel the world much more vibrant, you should have felt more alive, and with excitement building up inside of you. Crazy right? There are two directions to understand the concept, one stemming from Eastern mysticism with a focus on meditation and the other from a neuroscientific perspective. You can already guess the direction we will take, so strap on for the latter.

The basic idea comes from brain functions. Brain itself is a very recent invention of evolution, and even more so is the ability to use logic (the voice in your head), and even, even more so, is the ability to maintain memory and future projection. The running narrative is that humans are the only animals that can “remember” and “think ahead”; in contrast, all of what we call skill and learning in other animals is akin to Pavlovian response, just hardwired behaviour.

You protest… how is that even possible to be arrogant like this? Well… let’s understand this from an even more basic concept: the concept of theory of mind. For a behaviour to be non-Pavlovian, it has to be able to independently respond to signals. You ring the bell, then there is a processing moment, then the dog decides to salivate or not, depending on whether you gonna bring food to it. That would be the non-Pavlovian version, correct?

For this to happen, the subject (the dog) should be able to understand the setting, think from your perspective (i.e., whether you intend to bring it food or not), and then decide to make the connection that bell implies food is suitable or not for this occasion. If the subject decides to think only from its perspective (“what I think is correct” – without second-guessing), disregarding the rest of the signals, then the pre-established response “bell → food” would automatically dominate all alternatives. Precisely this distinction – perspective shift – makes the difference between a sovereign skill (choose how and when to use it) and a scheduling or input/output task, not unlike how a computer operates. Therefore, for a skill to not be hardwired, theory of mind is a prerequisite.

Ok, we have something measurable now… which animals display theory of mind? Which animals can think from different perspectives? This is limited to only some apes, primates, and dogs. To understand this, think of the following experiment: point with your finger at a toy; if you are with a cat, the cat will just stare at your finger, failing to understand what pointing means. If you are with a dog, the dog will understand that pointing means not the finger itself, but to redirect attention to the direction of the finger, the finger leads to the toy! This is the difference between theory of mind and not.

All well and good so far, but our original objective was to arrive at the concept of past and future. Well, past and future can only exist if there is theory of mind, otherwise, there is no use for the function, it might as well be hardwired. The whole point of past and future is to make an action sovereign, to give nuance to it. Hence, their existence only makes sense if they are practical, and they can only be practical with presence of theory of mind.

However, let us investigate the current literature in memory. Because the concept of memory is not a simple mental replaying of events, it is an active reconstruction of the scene based on limited information. It is not a movie, it is an active process, and a very inconsistent one at that. Time and time again, the malleability of human memory and its own self-falsification is observed. Even when people were 100% convinced of certain facts based on their memory, the reality proved to be quite different. This has been documented in trials and courts, with victims being convinced that the perpetrator was a totally innocent person. Therefore, not only theory of mind is a prerequisite for the usefulness of “memory”, but memory itself is the same as future projection: they are the same mental system. The past and the future are both just a fleeting reconstruction of events in the brain, and in the brain only.

Therefore… what is happening with past, present and future? From our prior discussion, past and future are mental simulations… but does the present exist, or is it also a brain trick? Well… it doesn’t either. The present moment cannot exist as a thing in itself due to the nature of the sense organs: vision, hearing, touch, etc. The sensor, for example, the eyes, has to collect the signal and send it into brain, then the brain has to process the signal into an image. But signal collection operates at different speeds and at different stages of processing. Vision is collected faster than sound (because light travels faster than sound), but has to go through a more complicated path in the brain before it ends up as a mental image. Sound is collected slower, but actually processed faster. Therefore, when you sit opposite to your friend and you watch him speak, the “image part” is collected and processed at different speeds than the “sound” part. But you don’t experience your friend with sound delay, the “image” and “sound” parts are synced…. because the brain is playing tricks on you!

What you experience as “here and now” is actually “just a moment in the past”, the brain collected all the signals, processed them, and synced them together. Fundamentally, you cannot experience the “now” as now; when you experience it, it has already passed a moment ago.

    Hierarchies in the brain

Hmm… past/future is a scam… and now is also a scam… so what gives? Well, they are both brain simulations, but they use different systems in the brain. The past/future system is much more recent and hence primitive in its function. Evolution just didn’t experiment enough on it to perfect it. The here and now system, on the other hand, is shared with the majority of the animal kingdom and is quite efficient and effective at its job. This is why you can turn off the voice in your head and still function. However, for our purposes, we will focus on a specific difference between the two systems.

    Dopamine

The brain uses neurochemicals to interpret the world, as has been mentioned multiple times in this blog, what we call happiness is a mix of:

    • Oxytocin
    • Dopamine
    • Endorphins
    • Serotonin

Unusual release of those chemicals leads to various feelings of happiness, while withdrawal leads to the opposite. In particular, the brain itself becomes accustomed to certain states, for example, if there are 5 units of dopamine constantly released, then the brain will consider this as the new normal, requiring 6 units to detect a difference and translate it as “excitement” (note: the same is true with the other chemicals, not unique to dopamine). The kicker is… that the past/future system only responds to dopamine; it simply doesn’t register the other chemicals [The Molecule of More – Lieberman and Long].

The big happiness shift you feel when you switch to here and now is the perception of the other chemicals in your brain’s thought process and functions. That is why you feel more connected to the world when practicing mindfulness… the effect of oxytocin! Oxytocin is also responsible for the feeling of satisfaction and contentment. Dopamine, on the other hand, is responsible for feelings of excitement, but lacks satisfaction or payoff at the end of it. There is a famous experiment: Scientists hooked up electrodes into a rats brain and connected them to a button. If the rat would press the button it would excite his dopamine centers, leading to the rush/excitement feeling. What happened was that once the rat discovered the mechanism, he became incredibly restless. He would maniacally press the button forgoing food and sleep, eventually leading to his death.

This is the curse of not living in the now; you forfeit your right to oxytocin and the feeling of “enough, I am happy now”. You maniacally chase and chase with no end! You cannot find happiness in your head! You can only find it in the now. If you still don’t believe me, take it from ancient worms [A brief history of intelligence – Bennet]. Primitive creatures that have survived to this day and age, and their functions have been studied by scientists in relation to dopamine/oxytocin. The worms have only one receptor to detect the concentration of food in their environment, not unlike how smell functions for humans. The worms operate on two axes:

    • Worm is hungry: excrete dopamine → initiate action, move towards food.
    • Worm is full: excrete oxytocin → initiate chilling mode, ignore food.

There is no simpler way to showcase the interplay of dopamine/oxytocin than this. Stick in your head, stick with dopamine, and you operate only in the first mode.

    How to do this

Well, we made a case for the here and now. How do we use it in practice? There is no science to it, you just need to train your mind to calm down and focus on stuff positive to now and contrary to past/future. That is where all the advice boils down to. Here are some examples:

    • Turn of your logical brain, think nothing at all for a minute or two.
    • Slow your movements, focus on the feelings of your body.
    • If need, start small, start on your breath or focus on your fingers and tows. Try to move the attention upwards.
    • Focus on your surroundings, the feelings and the sounds of people, this will activate oxytocin and take you to present.

Remember, girls are naturally averse to logic, or better put, naturally focused on oxytocin and serotonin. This helps them bond, i.e., understand the social game better, and to later extend care and tend for babies. Especially in Daygame, it is too much to ask them to enter our Male default state (logic), so we enter theirs. It is to our benefit as well, oxytocin naturally speeds up connection, and serotonin naturally establishes power structures (via status), i.e., humor! When coaches advocate to get out of your head, it is precisely for these reasons!

This post is blowing up in size and scope. Stay tuned for part two, where I will analyse the prominent theories on the origins of emotions and their connection to the groundwork established here.

  • Shameless Daygame: a Discussion on Quality and Style

Shameless Daygame: a Discussion on Quality and Style

There is much discussion on standards, quality, and so-called style. You need to get girls, but only get girls that are smoking hot, educated (at least be able to recite Homer by heart), and do this while she is begging for it!

Well, practitioners of Game are very likely to find the reality of things quite different out there. They are going to find that rejection is ten-a-penny, style is a fiction, and educated girls are more rare than unicorns (albeit, they do exist). The point I am trying to make, if you can’t lay 6s, then you have no business with 9s. The fuck ladder is real, drop your standards, especially when learning, and aim for the girls that you realistically have a chance.

We will now explore the bottom world of Game, because the “I approached 100 girls to lay a 6” is a reality most of us have to face in our learning career. The general rule is that we first break the quantity ceiling, then we break the quality ceiling. Therefore, indulge shamelessly in what you can get, and focus on getting it consistently, then later focus on improving it.

    The myth of quality

There is a long discussion on what is realistically achievable in Game. I am not the best person to consult, as my entire sexual history started with Daygame, barring a few drunken one-night stands; all my lays come post Game. Other, more well-rounded individuals have stronger opinions, which I summarise below:

    • Krauser: ceiling is 2 points hotter from the second hottest girl you layed pre-Game.
    • Thomas Crown: ceiling is your (current) SVM + 1.

I tend to agree with these empirically; it is long known that Daygame aims at 6s, 7s, and 8s, with 9s being rare exceptions (personally, I can only claim I had two 9s in my career, but what I would call a nine is really strict). Regardless, here I have summarised the ranking scale, so refer to that to put context into the numbers.

However, male autism with numbers aside, I believe this discussion is missing the point. The ranking part makes sense only to benchmark against other Gamers (dick size competition), or to measure your own progress. When it comes to actually getting a lay, the priority should be finding a girl to lay, and then everything else comes second. Public orations aside, no Daygamer would actually pass a lay with a 6, just because she is a 6. He would gladly indulge in it, and bragging rights aside… not fill much differently than laying a 7 (okay, with 8s and above, there is a qualitative difference, I have to admit).

Therefore, based on me, your benchmarking is a function of your past results and the time since your last lay. If you have had no results, or no results in a long time, go and solve that part first before you start seeking 10s again. At the end of the day, every girl comes with an expiration date on how long she will amuse you, but at least the first time is always a thrill. Take it from Heartiste: “You will get bored of sex with every girl you date/love/marry. The only question is how soon”.

    The myth of style

Worse and equally prominent on public discourse is the discussion on style, i.e., there is a “right” (read “Alpha”) way to get the girl, then every other way to get the girl is invalid, a cheat, or at extremes… unethical.

Unless you are really sensitive to social criticism (which is a big issue in and of itself), learn to disengage from such discussions. Nature has blessed the damsels with copious amounts of solipsism, so in her head, there is only one way to seduce her… her way! The only question is how much you are willing to engage with her way.

When a Daygamer brags that he finished his first date lay with the price tag of a coffee cup and a taxi ride, it doesn’t mean he used some juju magic to make the girl abandon her dreams for vacation in Dubai. It means for that specific girl, getting seduced over a coffee date was within her realistic realm of possibilities. Thankfully, those girls exist in vast amounts, and that is what makes the frugal strategy of Daygame work… over the strategy of shipping them to Dubai. However, there are also girls who will only accept the latter and will never be open to be Daygamed.

Therefore, if the point above can be so painfully clear, why do people get confused when the same interaction plays out on other axis:

    • The speed of the seduction.
    • How gentlemanly you have to behave.
    • How much of the conversation you have to carry.
    • How many PDAs she will accept.

All these are what constitute “style”, do you see the pointlessness now? The only thing that matters is whether you can get her into bed; it is about calibrating to the girl, i.e., playing it her way. All the axes that are not actively harmful to you are indeed part of Game, they are up for negotiation. I have already written in depth about this here. There is no “style”, there is only calibration to the girl.

    So what is non-negotiable?

Let us debunk some more myths. What is non-negotiable and why? For example, Game itself asks you to repurpose your entire personality, so why later on maintaining frame and your ID becomes non-negotiable? Same goes for money; getting away cheap has bragging rights, but why do we actively push for it? Men (Betas) have shown pretty clearly that they are happy to spend money on girls.

As hinted above, the only non-negotiable aspects of Game are precisely these: changing too much of your personality for her, and how much money you spend on her. People can delve into trivialities on how the contrary is pedestalizing, but these are just that, trivialities; the core reasons are more fundamental.

    Splitting the bill

First comes spending. Well, the coffee date is convenient and fast, but the true goal is to reduce seduction into one axis: charismatic value. When you split the bill half-half, she has only one reason to stay at the date: because she fancies you. Therefore, her feedback becomes true; every smile, escalation, or other little signal she sends is true. Sounds silly spelled like this, but for people who have observed Social Game, will quickly understand that in that setting, many of the smiles, kino, or flattery are fake and part of the grander game of social chess. Girls will act one way but mean something totally different. She might be flirty all evening and give you the harshest of blowouts later. Do you now see the superpower of completely skipping this superficial layer?

Building on top of this (albeit still part of calibration), is the ability to process feedback. When she only judges your worth on charismatic value, and her face drops, you know where you messed up. The feedback is up personal and to the point. She will not act nice to tap on your social power, or because she enjoys your party, she will act nice because she wants to act nice, because she finds you interesting. More than anything, this is why I advocate for always splitting the bill half and half, no matter the situation.

    ID and character

Your character will always be a filter. For you to be something, you must forfeit your right to be something else. It has long been documented that girls truly have types, and they have types beyond appearance; they have types based on archetype. Her associating with a certain archetype of man will feed her own self-image and hence something structural that will always exist: she cannot be a rocker if she doesn’t fuck the edgy rockstar, plain and simple. Read the prior essay to understand how girls self-define through association rather than self-generation of values.

Therefore, when Game asks to rebuild your identity, it asks you to do so as a means to an end. When you have rebuilt yourself enough to consistently get results, further molding of ID should happen from self-generation. It will be a massive filter, but it will be a strong hook for the girls who pass that filter. It will be a strong hook for you as well, as it will lead to more honest interactions and relationships. Maintaining a positive self-image is a non-negotiable prerequisite of self-acceptance. Therefore, once you find it after the beginner stage, revel in it; this is you, make your core rock solid!

    Conclusion

Game is already hard enough, don’t make it even harder by chasing social ideals and expectations. I would even say that Daygame specifically, requires you to step outside of the clutches of the good society, to become a rebel in your own way.

Well, in that world, there is no shame. Focus on acquiring the skillset and let the results speak for themselves when the time comes. If you are getting 6s when you were getting nothing, that is winning. When you were getting 7s when you were getting 6s before, that is also winning. Let the people demanding perfection try to live up to their ideals first; they won’t. As you should be well aware by now, the Sexual Market Place doesn’t lie: high quality women only mate with high quality men. And to be and maintain high value requires tremendous effort. The guy who lays 10s every week should have an equally deep system for it, otherwise he is just a bullshitter. The only thing that truly matters is what you were getting before vs what you are getting now, focus only on that!

  • The Girl is Your Mirror: Daygame as Therapy

The Girl is Your Mirror: Daygame as Therapy

Originally attributed to Tom Torero, this has become a tenet of Daygame. Combined with the discussion on Empathy, these two principles are responsible for much of a Daygamer’s improvement over time.

I was always interpreting this advice at the second level of thinking (“I know, that you know, that I know”), i.e., the Player needs to observe his feelings, in response to the girl’s reaction, to his approach → then all Inner Game issues are magically revealed.

However, after discussions with a fellow Daygamer, it came to my understanding that there are multiple ways that this tenet can be interpreted. If done wrong, it actually leads to regression than to improvement.

    Levels of thinking

This discussion has to begin with a Game Theory topic, explaining the depth of analysis in head-to-head adversarial games.

This concept has been immortalised in this scene from the old Zorro TV Series. It goes as follows:

    • The villain has two cups, one with wine and one with poison.
    • He offers Zorro a cup, which he has the option to swap.
    • Then they both drink, and the person who got the poison dies.

It feels like pure chance, right? At the end of the day, Zorro has 50-50 chance of drinking the poison.

This would be true assuming the participants had no intelligence or motives. What really happens is the following: let us describe it from the person who assigns the cups originally (i.e., the villain):

    • Villain wants Zorro to die → gives him the poison (Level 0)
    • Villain knows that Zorro knows his motives. He assumes Zorro will swap → gives himself the poison (Level 1)
    • Villain knows that Zorro knows he will think at Level 1. Assumes Zorro won’t swap to outplay him → gives Zorro the poison (Level 2)

In short, Zorro swaps at Levels with odd parity and doesn’t swap at Levels with even parity.

Therefore, from Villain’s point of view: at step 2N, the Villain gives Zorro the poison, who assumes that he won’t swap. At step 2N+1, he will give himself the poison, assuming Zorro would swap.

From Zorro’s point of view: if he matches the parity of the Villain’s level of thinking (odd to odd, or even to even), then the Villain gets the poison → Zorro wins

As you can see, what started as a 50-50 chance has now reduced to a guessing game. Of course, there are infinite ways that both Zorro and Villain can win, justifying the probability, but thinking probabilistically is the mistake. Thinking Empathetically decides who wins and who loses instead.

    Levels of Thinking and Game

Big discussion about something seemingly unrelated to Game, right? The principles of LDM dictate that seduction is cooperative (win-win), rather than adversarial.

Wrong, dear friend, because the levels of thinking don’t apply to Player vs Girl, they apply to how Player gets feedback and how he discusses that feedback with peers.

    The Daygame approach

    Level Zero: What is

This is the basic and malicious judgment level. I am including it only because it is so prominent. It will be for the mental benefit of the Player to learn to catch it quickly and disqualify the person directing the conversation there.

Level Zero is on holistic value:

    • Did the girl reject you → you must suck.
    • Did you got a meaningless number through absurd flash Game → you are awesome (the number matters)

At its most deceptive, this is how people judge Game based on outcome, not on intent. Is the girl receptive? That must mean good Game.

Sadly, this is the signal that most people react to. However,… we are here to get laid, so fuck the world. Let others think like this, you go on and ignore them.

    Level 1: Why is that

Here is where analysis begins. When you get rejected, it is not because you suck as a whole. It is because some factors of you made you unattractive to her. For example, your vibe was off, your fashion was off, or there was value mismatch between you two.

By isolating factors, the analysis becomes more mechanistic and impersonal, rather than personal. Good, this is the first step towards improvement, but over-reliance here can cause problems.

The thinking itself is analytic vs holistic, however it is not synthetic. Sadly, at extremes, this is prone to fatalism. Browse the average online forum, and people reduce seduction to “height”, or “genetics”, or “social circle”. You get the picture.

Level 2: The factors behind the “why”

Here is where it gets interesting. It is not about the factors working independently, but it is about how the pieces interact with each other in a complete model.

It is how your mentality induces your behaviour that the girl interacts based on her prior body language and value. It is also a guideline of possible girl outcomes vs your prior assumptions and personality intricacies.

This is where failure becomes admissible, because you want failure itself as a filtering mechanism. Not all failures are created equally, and how you manage some failures affects your long-term vibe.

This level is the ideal for feedback in Seduction.

    Level 3 and beyond: Calibration

Level 3 and above can be grouped together as Calibration and micro-Calibration. It can be about specific cultural nuances or well-studied body language and personality reading.

You will develop it naturally with Game exposure, but it shouldn’t matter that much when analysing feedback. This is a long-term project that naturally will fall into place with experience.

    Every piece at its place

Here is where we connect Game Theory with Seduction even further.

Did you remember the observation that Zorro can win or lose the Game depending on his level of thinking relative to his opponent? The same is true here. Try to analyze a piece of feedback, for example, a Level 3 minute costume at a Level 1 spot… and you get disaster.

The point is that as you go deeper, higher structures are revealed to you, but this should not happen at the expense of the foundations. I am not advocating for intellectual elitism, but I am advocating for a correct level of analysis.

    Full Circle

Therefore, we are ready to close the loop on the “Girl is your Mirror” argument.

At Level Zero, this is advice about how this girl reacted. It edges toward monomania and will actually hinder your progress rather than assist it.

At Level One, this is general feedback over big sample sizes. It is averagely useful at understanding isolated changes over long sessions. For example, the new jacket yielded a small spike in results in 20 sets. Maybe this is a good change to adopt.

At Level Two is where the advice shines. As I stated earlier, it translates to: what does her reaction induce in me? If you get overly anxious when she doesn’t encourage your approach immediately, the point is your anxiety, not her reaction. It revealed your Inner Game gap.

    The True Value of Game

That final statement is where Daygame will aid your life the most. Emotional progress and stability, i.e., what we call Inner Game, can make a night-and-day difference in the average person’s life.

Take a broken office dweller and give him a superbabe. Or give him a Lambo. Give him both for fuck’s sake… After the emotional spike wears off… you will find the same broken man. Life’s achievements should come at the end of a bedrock of ability. Unearned riches are more adversarial in the long run.

Now take the same man and teach him Game and Independence. He will quit his job and be self-sufficient with half of his current needs. That is the point: Happiness is an Inner Game equation as much as it is induced by the external reality.

  • Newton’s Third Law of Emotion: Goodwill vs Mental Dissonance

Newton’s Third Law of Emotion: Goodwill vs Mental Dissonance

We all have been to school. Eventually, we are taught physics, and a particular concept stands out. Newton’s third law: Every action (force) induces an equal reaction (force).

Commonly known as the action-reaction law, well… it holds for our purposes as well. Here is the Daygame version:

Every (negative) emotional action has an equal emotional reaction. The emotion you induce in others, comes back to you

In short, if you are a dick to someone, at some level of your psyche, you are a dick to yourself.

    The Neuroscience

This is not a random truism, this part of your psyche is real. It exists in your brain structurally, and we know where it is. It is called the Anterior Cingulate Cortex (ACC). It sits precisely between the emotional and logical centers of the brain, between what used to be called Mammalian and Monkey brains. Here:

Its function is exactly what you would expect, to resolve contradictions between goals, expectations, and outcomes. Take it away:

Anterior Cingulate Cortex (ACC): This region plays a crucial role in monitoring errors and detecting conflicts between competing demands or goals. When the brain encounters contradictory information, the ACC shows increased neural activation, signaling that a conflict needs to be addressed.

All cognitive dissonance effects originate from here. It is precisely the part of the brain which causes the famous forebrain-hindbrain conflict in girls: when she wants to fuck you (emotionally) but her forebrain (logic) says no.

It also explains why frame control is so important, precisely because it resolves contradictions (eases tensions) in the minds of the participants. When someone comes under your frame, they’re getting real mechanical benefits in their brains.

Emotional negativity comes back to you

We are now ready to explain the full picture. When you treat someone excessively bad for no reason, ACC will come and fight you. In short, for your (negative) behaviour to be congruent, you need to truly believe the other person is a monkey. This is the only scenario that makes the behaviour congruent and won’t cause internal conflict.

But for most people, it is impossible to treat strangers like that. There are other parts of the brain that regulate social cohesion, belonging in the group, and status hierarchies. Those prevent excessive blind aggression. Therefore, when a person is unfairly bad to someone else, this creates a cognitive dissonance and induces an equal bad emotion in the person itself.

[Remember: your inner core accurately assesses the situation, despite the sugarcoating of the Ego. There is a part of the brain that sees the world objectively, and you cannot hide from it. This is where the “unfair” part comes from.]

Let us now see where this information comes handy.

    Don’t be a dick

In Game, what is the poster child of treating girls bad? Of course Asshole Game!

Some asshole Game is good, but don’t be “Roissy asshole Game” unless the environment requires it. Firstly, it is ineffective. The whole point of asshole Game is to raise attraction, but we know better now than 2012.

Attraction is created when we break rapport. To break rapport… rapport needs to be established first. If there is a constant push, you will never establish it. You need the pull first, before you can push. So not aimless push, not constant push. Moderate it and integrate it. There is an art to attraction, not blind standardized rules.

The reason to respect these rules is not even about the girl, it is for your own self! Keep disrespecting girls and people for no reason and either of two things will happen:

    1. Your internal world will become congruent with you behaviour to resolve ACC contradictions.
    2. You will be at a perpetual state of self-contradiction.

Neither is good, neither is welcome. This is one sure way to damage yourself in Game.

On top of this, let’s investigate laughing. Not a necessary part of attraction, but a good heuristic of it, at least when it comes to verbal based Game.

We know what “laugh” means for humans. Its evolutionary mechanism has been uncovered. Laughing stands to indicate “we are playing now”, the situation is not serious at face value.

Well take one and two together and you can see that the “push” only works when it is superficial. A push at face value is not attractive. You need to establish the superficial layer, either via body language, non-verbals or by pulling.

Simply, any attraction material not respecting the above is misplaced. That is the true key to attraction !

    She is a bitch

People get hurt when the girl never stops or blows them out quite rudely. It is decently common and happens to the best of us. There is no way to prevent it without excessive calibration (meaning going for only safe sets). Let us investigate this aspect from another point of view.

This is where empathy can help our Inner Game hard. Start thinking from her viewpoint. If she blows you off like that, one of three things must hold:

    • She is hurting herself emotionally as much as she hurts you. (ACC triggers)
    • Her psyche is distorted so the ACC doesn’t trigger.
    • She has a genuine reason to not be able to talk now, and her reply shows Social goofiness.

Take a look at these three reasons. These are the only possible explanations.

Number 1 and 2: it is you who doesn’t want to meet her. Forget the bouncing ass; she is genuinely engaging in lose-lose situations intentionally. This is all you need to know about her. In the long run, she probably would hurt you much more.

Number 3 is outside of our control as Players. It is the equivalent of screaming at the clouds. We don’t control neither her life situation, nor her social aptitude. Accept that it is a realistic scenario that we can do nothing about and move on.

Once the analysis sets in, things become much more manageable and predictable. Inner Game and handling rejection stop being magic, and they follow orderly emotional equations.

    Emotional Honesty

Studies on honesty and ACC all conclude the following: lying is cognitively demanding because it requires brain resources to contain conflict in ACC. In short, being honest, morality aside, is much easier on the brain than being dishonest.

Now, this is not a post about morality; I would even claim my blog’s direction is more utilitarian than moral. However, we just explained a concept long known in the Daygame community.

Krauser has called it the “emotional rucksack”. It is an emotional baggage that beginners and intermediates carry with them. It is written on their faces and a keen observer can catch it from a mile away: a cognitive dissonance between the world in their head and the real world. Eventually, this prevents them from showcasing their true emotions during the approach. Well… ain’t this a conflict in the ACC?

That is why self-honesty and emotional projection are core aspects of Inner Game. You are making the Seduction easier for yourself by eliminating conflict in your own brain.

  • The Essence of Courage: Decoding Mental Anxiety in Daygame

The Essence of Courage: Decoding Mental Anxiety in Daygame

In Manosphere, terms get confused and perplexed. The biggest victim is the change in the meaning of the word frame. In early PUA theory, frame was a term to describe combative worldviews. In the modern manosphere, frame is a mythical term to express self-delusion. We all know this, right?

Bro,… you don’t get it, you need to not care about what she says. You need Frame. It’s your way or the highway!

No shit. Advice that asks nothing of the reader is popular… If the above phrasing doesn’t reek of self-delusion, re-evaluate your premises.

The second victim of terminology is the word Courage. This will be a study of this post. Courage is assumed to be a mythical force that people have or don’t have. It is meant to imply that the Player takes incredible risks and succeeds regardless. It is a symbol of status. Well… all of this is wrong.

    What is Courage?

Staying consistent with the theme of this blog, we need to clearly define terms and then see how we can use them to our advantage. That is the essence of tactical Game and strategy in general.

Courage is more fundamental to seduction than most people realise. Courage is Inner Game itself. Here is our working definition:

The emotional acceptance of a situation during adversity. Meaning both the positive and the negative outcomes.

Every action has an impact both on the real world and on our emotional world. Different actions might lean more on one than the other. For example, chopping wood is an entirely physical action. On the other hand, calling someone an idiot lives entirely on the emotional plane.

If the action has an unpredictable result in the real world, it is also unpredictable in the emotional plane. For example, when we run up to the girl, her physical reaction (sparks, laughs, or rejects) will have a different impact on the Player’s emotional state (happy, sad). Therefore, before the approach, your Ego is in a strange position. It doesn’t know which state to anticipate.

Here is where Courage comes in. Courage is the Ego maturity to accept both outcomes. This disentangles the Ego so as to allow the Player to navigate the situation optimally. In short, Courage is about:

    • Seeing reality clearly.
    • Understanding potential outcomes.
    • Emotional maturity, control, and alignment.

    Courage is not about:

    • Not analysing reality and situation in context.
    • Expecting only the best outcome.
    • Taking unnecessary risks without analyzing the situation.
    • Especially doing the above without even acknowledging the situation.

    Courage vs Confidence

Let us delve more into the discussion of why Courage is misunderstood. This will help clear the confusion and set definitions straight. Courage is misunderstood because it is confused with Confidence.

Let us re-summarize the recent blogpost that we defined Confidence.  Every social setting, for every participant, has a set of behaviors that is within the expectations of the other participants. We called this acceptable behaviour.

Confidence in this setting was the smart limit testing of acceptable behaviour. With the core insight that Confidence is grounded in the social setting and perception.

In light of this discussion, Courage is the meta-level understanding of acceptable behaviour in the face of uncertainty. Courage is being able to model potential future states of acceptable behaviour and mentally digest them. This lets us Calibrate our Confidence. There is no true Confidence without Courage; it is fake Confidence.

In a sense, Courage is social fair play. We accept outcomes because the other participants are also free to play the social game. Their game plan might align with our goals or be contradictory. But they have the fundamental right to pursue their plan. We have to accept and respect this.

How to develop Courage – Mathematics of emotions

The breakthrough is to understand that Courage is grounded in reality and the understanding of the social setting. Same as Confide, Calibration, and Social Intelligence. It operates according to the laws of the universe, no different than gravity.

The first step of mentally digesting an uncertain action, for example, a Daygame approach, is understanding the potential outcomes. Here is a high-level metaphor. You go to the supermarket, you fill your basket, but when you reach the counter, you are forced into the following scenario:

    • You have to guess the cost of your items and pay a machine that amount.
    • If the number is correct, you get to keep your basket and leave Scott free.
    • If you pay less, you will be immediately arrested.

In this scenario, you can only showcase Courage by accepting the very realistic scenario that you will be arrested. There are only two potential outcomes: either walk out or get arrested. The second is much more likely. Accepting it would require emotional control equivalent to a Buddhist monk or a Stoic. It is a fundamentally hard proposition.

But… what if you had been smarter? What if you had a notebook and wrote the prices of every item before putting them in your basket? This task then becomes significantly easier. It is about doing a simple addition. The emotional maturity required in the “blind guess” scenario could have simply been avoided by due diligence, of keeping track of item prices.

Here is the insight: we don’t need Buddhist monk enlightenment to showcase courage; we need planning and analysis of the setting. This is how Courage is developed in Daygame. By constant friction with uncertainty, we eventually map out the terrain and learn to accept it.

The remainder of this section is about developing heuristics to help us showcase Courage more easily. It is literally emotional mathematics, emotional calculus!

    Courage mathematics: worst-case analysis

Analyzing acceptable behaviour under uncertainty reduces to risk analysis. It would require a supercomputer to analyze every nuance and social cue. For our simple human brains, we will make do with approximation. That is just enough information to make educated guesses, but not too much to lead to analysis paralysis.

The first idea is about grouping similar scenarios. If you run up to the girl and she blows you off, there are gradations: she can be nice, polite, or totally ignore you. In practice, however, these gradations don’t matter. What matters is staying in set or getting blown out. All these can be grouped together as a worst-case scenario, i.e., the blowout, and analyzed as such.

This reduces mental gymnastics quite a bit. Essentially, our decision-making as Players is about minimizing worst-case scenarios. Here is the analogy:

You see a big red button. If you press it, there is:

    • 90% chance to win 100$
    • 10% for your bank account to empty out

Go on, showcase Courage by pressing it. Accept the probability that your bank account goes bye-bye.

    In contrast, consider this scenario:

    • 80% chance to win 5$
    • 20% chance to lose 5$

This scenario is much more manageable for all its outcomes. It is easy to accept a 5$ gain and a 5$ loss. This decreases the mental effort required to showcase Courage.

    Courage mathematics: variance

This is another insight from decision theory and strategy. Reduction of variance helps the planning process quite a bit. Think of it like this:

You are presented again with the big red button and also a blue button:

    • If you press the red button, you might win anywhere from 0 to 1000$. Totally random.
    • If you press the blue button, you will win 450$.
    • However, before you even press any button, you can buy a vacation plan for 400$. You are very willing to go on that vacation if the cost is covered from your winnings. Otherwise, it is a net loss in terms of satisfaction.
    • What do you do?

Here is the value of reducing variance. It helps shrink the range of possible outcomes, similar to the worst-case analysis. Pressing the red button, on average, nets an extra 50$, but it has a 40% chance of a catastrophic outcome (netting less than the trip cost). Pressing the blue button has a single outcome: 50$ and a vacation plan.

Once we take the emotional costs of our decision into account, the blue button is a far superior option in terms of presenting Courage. It simply requires us less to emotionally digest.

What we tried to explain in mathematical terms is a model of emotional cost transactions. Theory like this has its basis in the works of Daniel Kahneman, for example, Thinking fast and Slow.

Counter-intuitively, the math does indeed work out. Our Ego is not a machine: using it optimally by adjusting how much work it has to handle, we essentially help it help us. That is the punchline.

    The meta level

Why is Courage crucial in Seduction? Courage ties directly to the concepts that have been verbalised as aloofness, outcome independence, and Inner Game.

In particular, the realisation that Courage is the Inner Game itself is the most crucial one. Inner Game is about being emotionally able to handle the real-world outcomes and requirements of Seduction. This is exactly the definition of Courage we gave earlier. Not adjacent, not similar, it is exactly the same.

    Aloofness and outcome independence

Let us now do a full circle and tie Courage with Power. This is what makes concepts such as aloofness and outcome independence valuable in seduction. This is also what makes those terms so nuanced and easy to misunderstand and misapply. First, let us remind the reader of the definition of Power from a recent post:

Power is measured by how much Party A has to adopt or change his behaviour in the presence of Party B.

Aloofness and outcome independence aim to reduce the influence of Party B. They do so by emotional detachment: if you don’t care, then she cannot affect you. Kind of… because emotional detachment is a defensive strategy.

Detachment requires distance to pull off. Distance is only achieved by negativity, emotionally speaking. Think about it, positivity and warmth naturally close distance and bring people together, so distance can only be the opposite. Hence, here is the catch: the Player tunnel-visions on the terms (aloofness, outcome independence) and forgets their original purpose.

The aim is to reduce the imaginary power of the girl or the social setting to the Player, but not at the expense of our own Soul. That is why these terms are so nuanced. Undershoot it, and the girls’ power over you increases more than it should. Overshoot it and you hurt yourself by creating unhealthy distance from the world.

Both aloofness and outcome independence are derivatives of our Courage. Their application is only correct by digesting the emotional outcomes, not by creating defensive distance. This is what squares the circle: reducing girls’ unnecessary power without damage to our own Soul. The concepts are derivatives of our inner world, and they need to be addressed there first. They are derived from Courage!

    The bottom line

Courage is not mystical. It can be clearly defined and analyzed in Mathematical and decision-making terms. There is a limit to what we can ask our Souls to withstand. If we overdo it, it can hurt us more than it can help us. The skill lies in calculated risks and actions, not blind improvisation.

This analysis also seals the connection between Inner Game and Technique. They are not standalone Pillars of Daygame. They are operating under the same roof and interact with each other. Technique regulates the input we let Inner Game handle. Emotional calculus is the bridge between the two!

  • Appreciate Game: A Perspective on Daygame Results and Stats

Appreciate Game: A Perspective on Daygame Results and Stats

It is easy to get lost and underestimate how much value Game adds to your life. Getting control of your love life is one of the deepest male pain points. It matters, or should matter to every man as a first priority, even beyond other areas of life such as wealth or gym. Honestly, ask yourself: if your fundamental core on how to connect with the opposite sex is rotten, how will you enjoy your millions or your biceps?

Predictably, the narrative in public discourse is the exact opposite of reality, i.e., about how much success everyone supposedly gets. It is even worse online, where success is abundant and lays are 10 a penny. Even the dwarf with one ear and 3 teeth can get laid online, so how can you not? Horseshit of the highest order of course. It just distorts the idea of what success looks like. With the result that new Players don’t know what is enough and can’t accurately measure their progress.

But destroying this misconception: “sex is everywhere, and you have been missing out”  is among the most fundamental Inner Game leaps. The reality is, yes, sex does happen out there. And a lot of it. It is for Women, Alphas, and Naturals. These are the three categories that get easy sex. That is the so-called Secret Society. If you are not getting consistent action in your life so far, you are not in this category. This is you, and at least 99% of men. Don’t sweat over it, blame nature. Therefore, welcome to Deep Bottom, where sex is indeed scarce. Game is our only ticket out of that world.

Making it in Game is a precious achievement, because getting any control of your sex life, for you, who wasn’t born an Alpha or a Natural, is something that takes work and effort. And it will never be easy; we are literally going against nature’s plan.

    How much sex is fictional?

To appreciate the value Game brings to your life, it is best to think by contrast. The first step in dispelling the myth of infinite sex is putting it into perspective with numbers. Let’s do rough statistics to estimate this. We only need to be approximately correct and estimate within order of magnitude to get the picture.

    Estimation 1

The first calculation comes from Krauser. The quoted article provides the methodology we will use.

As of 2025, Gen Z (ages 16-30) is about 25% of the population globally. The proportion is even less in the West because of the collapsing fertility rates, but we will go with this number simply to create an upper bound. About half of them are girls and half are guys. Hence, 12.5% of an average country can be assumed to be sexually available females in their prime.

According to EU data, about half the population is overweight and obese. Let us assume 50% of girls in Gen Z are within normal weight limits (and this already doesn’t match my empirical evidence). Therefore, from a starting point of 12.5%, only half, let’s say 7% are not fat.. For all we know, she might be missing a tooth, but we will roll with it if she is thin.

We will now go with Krauser and assume that girls accumulate 1 lay per year on average. Half of those lays are flings, and half of them are within relationships. To put this in perspective, this means that each girl will accumulate 24 lifetime lays for the fertile years of 16-40. This already overshoots sex surveys, keeping it consistent with our upper bound approach. In short, for any given year, half of our 7% population will be served in relationships, and the other half will be available for casual sex. Therefore, 3.5% of the population of women is hot enough and available for adventure sex.

Now, let us define Player success. A Player can accumulate multiple lays per year, but let us say he needs at least 5 to be worthy of the name (that number is intentionally low). Let’s take it one step further and assume no Players get more than 5 lays. Each gets exactly 5. That means, the whole adventure sex market is cannibalized by 0.7% of men, as 3.5%/5 = 0.7%.

Therefore, any given country cannot sustain more than 0.7% of men being Players. It is not about skill at this point; it is about how much casual sex women can supply the market.  And remember, we significantly overestimated. The real number is much, much smaller.

    Estimation 2

This idea comes from the book “Sex and Rank” by Sergei Morozov.  It attempts to estimate sexual encounters based on condom sales.

Let’s take Europe. Europe has a population of 450 million as of 2024, with 376 (or 84%) of those above age 18. This nets 188 million sexually active males.

According to the internet in 2024, there were 3.9 billion condoms sold. Condom usage varies widely across studies, but most seem to agree that at minimum 50% of people use condoms. Let us use this minimum, and assume only half of sex happens with a condom on. Since we had 3.9 billion condoms sold in Europe, this nets an estimate of 7.8 billion sexual encounters. Dividing by the number of males… then, each male gets an allowance of 41 sexual encounters for that year.

That 41 sounds like a high number, but most sex happens within relationships. Let us try to estimate this. Relationships vary from “sex every single day” to the dreaded “sexless marriage”. We will make the executive decision and assume the average relationship has 2 sexual encounters per week.

In the course of a year, that relationship eats up… 52 weeks x 2… 104 sexual encounters. This is about 2.5 times the male sexual allowance, which was 41. Let us be lenient and assume that for every couple out there, there is a man who is left with zero for that year.

The question, therefore, becomes… how many couples are there? Europe estimates have this at 45%. Since each couple consumes twice the Male’s yearly sex allowance, 45% of couples account for 90% of total sex. It also means that there is only 10% of available sex left for the 55% of the remaining men. No wonder adventure sex is so difficult.

The work required to get a lay

If people are shocked by the previous section, I remind the audience that genetic studies estimate only 14-30% of men reproduced, ever. Reproducing can mean as little as sticking your dick in a girl only once in your lifetime. Technically, by our estimations, the modern world certainly outperforms prehistory.

We return to Daygame. Authors (Krauser and Bodi) have written plenty about why 1 girl a month from Game is a lot, and why 2 girls a month is really a lot. I agree. Simply from the practical side of things. Every Daygame lay needs 30-60 approaches for even the best of us. And that is when our vibe is on point. Just how much can you be on the streets without turning into a soulless approach machine?

Earlier in the year, it took me 70 sets and 16 dates to get a lay. The 16 dates of course are an outlier, but the 70 approaches are not (… not that much). This happened over 1 month with a lazy work rate and life commitments in the background.  Assuming that is an average experience to get a lay …how many copies of this rollercoaster can you emotionally handle compressed in a month to get multiple lays?

That is why, as Daygamers, we have periods of multiple lays in bursts and periods of cooling down and approach revulsion. High lay counts in small periods of time (for example, 3 lays per month) are not sustainable over the long run. The work is just too much. In particular, the initial rush aside, how much happiness do people get from a one-and-done situation? Or even a fuckbuddy situation. Here is where you need to put your Ego aside, and decide if you are gonna live your life aimed at hedonism and impressing people on the internet, or live the life based on your body’s needs. Sure, go wild for some time, but when that ends, honestly ask yourself, how much do you value meaningless sex just for the dopamine spike?

I personally always have a better time in LTRs. My limit was 3 LTRs simultaneously; I could even slot girls in and out of LTRs as I wanted. This is true freedom and control of love life without racking up 500 notches. This concept has been immortalised by John Bodi as follows:

    • Q: “How much would you pay for two guaranteed 7s every year for the rest of your life ?”
    • A: “My entire bank account and my mother’s house.”

We have it better in Daygame

In Daygame, we maintain multiple advantages over other forms of Game. For all intents and purposes, we have better flexibility in navigating girls for our needs. Let us put this into perspective, Daygame is:

    • Highly mobile, or location independent
    • High novelty, as we can meet different nationalities and types of girls. The club and online demographics are much more limited.
    • Very fast and with low maintenance post lay.
    • Better control over the quality of the girls we meet. And I mean mental qualities, not only beauty.

Take a Nightgamer. To get 3-4 lays a month, he has to go to the club 8-12 times. This is assuming a high close rate of one lay per 2-3 nights out. Can you go consistently out that many times, maintain your A game, and not destroy the rest of your life? How many of those girls are quality and not brainless and boring?

For a Social Game Player: Lead acquisition is out of your control; you don’t know when girls will fall into your circle. On top, seduction is slow, and good luck managing LTRs and fuckbudies in the same circle afterwards. One mistake and the whole thing blows up in your face.

For Online Game, I can make an exception in the work rate. Lays do happen very fast there… but how many of those girls do you respect as human beings and not as pieces of meat? Also, there is a very high chance you will underperform your SMV because hypergamy is truly let loose there. Go fuck 100 sluts, and you might actually end up more broken than when you started.

    Bottom line

The reality is the one in front of your eyes. The reality is not the experiences and the stories of other Players. And more importantly, the reality is not on the internet. If you find it hard to get a lay, it is because it is indeed hard to get a lay.  This is fair, this is the world, and this is reality for you specifically, with your current SMV, and the amount of investment you want to give Game right now. You are not missing out, and there are no shortcuts. We all work hard for our lays. Eventually, and with skill, the work/benefit balance is to our advantage, but there is still work that must be done if we want results.

A few quality lays can entirely transform your life. Game is worth it. The infamous 1000 sets of hell in Daygame are worth it. Very few Players claim more than 10 lays in those 1000, and that is okay. For me specifically, it was 8, and 6 of those happened in the last 200 sets. Because my life entirely changed. It didn’t take 100 lays for it; it took 8. Every lay after that was out of choice, for novelty and limit testing. It wasn’t a necessity.

As a non-Alpha or Natural, life had decided for you to be either hard or impossible to get laid. Breaking out of this is a massive achievement. You qualify for that achievement from “just” getting a handful of lays: you already outperformed your nature, good job! Going one step further and controlling your love life, with options and power to manage your relationships and LTRs, is so far out of nature’s plans for you. It is truly getting away with it.

The intro above is not decoration, go have a read!  This is the main metaphor for self-improvement expressed in three verses. This is exactly what happens when men discover the Red Pill.

    Part 1: Discovery

The first verse speaks of an invisible evil. An evil we know exists in theory, it is all around us, but we can not verbalize or point it out. We can see its effects: modern dating is hard, divorces are through the roof, affirmative action, etc. But to make the invisible turn visible, we need to synthesize.

What Red Pill does is exactly this. It takes our collective empirical evidence and combines it into a narrative. This narrative has laws, drivers, and predicts outcomes. It is a full roadmap from evolution to society.  Incentive structures come from the first, institutions and conventions come from the second. The full picture emerges. This is the Devil; we found him, we can point to him.

    Part 2: Emptiness

The second verse discusses the emptiness that follows a world-breaking synthesis. We have peeked behind the curtain, and we have seen the ugly picture. The natural feelings at this stage are anxiety, uncertainty, stress, and fear. It is the equivalent of discovering the atomic bomb in sexual dynamics. The implications are immense and scary.

Many men choose to stay here; they stop questioning. They take the Black Pill, they become depressed, they give up.

    Part 3: Catharsis

The last verse describes the truly brave. It is for the rare few who decided to keep walking in the mud. The old narrative has been dispelled, but they are tasked with rebuilding from the ashes.

This is where the spirit of personal rebellion hits the strongest. By stepping outside the matrix, we become the rebel, the outlaw, the bandit. We are carving a new path, outside society’s norms. Entry into this club is entirely voluntary. Any person can choose to keep going. Taking to heart the lessons already learned and facing reality with imperfect courage.

Eventually, these men will dispel the entire myth. They will face the Devil head-on. And they will come back with a new truth.

    Journey demystified

On your journey through seduction and manosphere, this cycle will take place again and again. Simplified, it goes like this:

    Discovery → Persistence → Breakthrough

This will happen both at the micro level, for example, a new infield concept, and at the macro level, for example, a new meta-level concept about the world.

From a bird’s-eye view, the process is very simple. The Devil’s tricks are neither sophisticated nor complex. However, here is where we need not confuse simple with easy. The initiated man has to rediscover the world. Rediscover the world through objective, or dare I say scientific, lenses. For this task, he will have to face two of the most elusive of all enemies. Encountering Truth and his own Ego.

On one side, Truth is scarce and rare to find. On the other hand, the Ego will try to divert him at every step of the way, distorting the Truth itself. This is the challenge that lies ahead. This is what makes self-improvement so hard.

  • Approach Anxiety is a Feature, not a Bug | Daygame

Approach Anxiety is a Feature, not a Bug | Daygame

Let’s make the following thought experiment. You live the daygame dream, you can run up to girls, and opens don’t carry emotional costs. You can open anything, get rejected or not, and your inner core is immutable. It barely moves you, “this is just fleeting”, you think. Well… is this the dream?

    Approach anxiety

Let’s think about it. At the moments leading up to the approach, your Ego has to make a decision. Is the result of this interaction going to affect your self-image?

If the answer is yes, then approach anxiety exists. Your being, consciously or unconsciously, understands you are about to get feedback from the world and doesn’t very much like it. Positive or negative, the feedback needs to be addressed somehow. A movement in the outside world produces a movement in the inner world.

Positive feedback can be rationalised as “I am awesome”, or “Game works”, or “there are good people in the world”.

Bad feedback is harder to rationalise; accepting it at face value means you need to change something in yourself. A blowout implies you weren’t good enough to get the girl. This leads to a cascade of questions to be answered: “Was it a Value issue? Can my Value even be increased?”, “If so, how? Is it the gym? Is it social status?”. There is also the chance: “the girl would never like me anyway”.

Maybe you shut off the feedback completely. You lock your Soul out of the world. You rationalize it in a different, impersonal way: “Game doesn’t work”, “she is a bitch”.

The whole point is that you have a stake in the interaction. The outcome of the interaction matters to you, and the result, positive or negative, needs to be addressed by your Soul. A word for this inner play is approach anxiety.

Aside: once we start taking the Ego into the equation, notice how the emotional results of the approach are predictable. This is the predictive power of psychology.

    Stake into the outcome

Notice that we used a fancy word earlier. The idea of having a stake in the outcome. That is indeed the key to understanding approach anxiety. The intensity of approach anxiety is relative to the stake you assign to the interaction.

Not many people have understood this, and the ones who have preach for outcome independence. What we will show is that this is wrong; we should actually be thinking diametrically opposite. Let us not get ahead of ourselves and formalize our claim:

“If you have a stake in the interaction, then by law, some inner movement (in the soul) will happen to cause a pre-approach steer of emotions”.

Surprisingly, this can hold at the micro level, i.e., before the approach itself. But it can also hold at the macro level, for example, through a series of 10 blowouts (because you expected some results in those).

    Absence and presence of Stake

The above statement is obvious; you might even call it a tautology (provides no deductive value). True, but we will use a corollary.

Absence of inner emotional steer, pre or post approach, can only imply no stake in the interaction. And if there is no stake in the interaction, well… then there is no reward out of the interaction.

There you have it, that is the 1 million dollar result. We can only eliminate approach anxiety by disassociating with the outcome. But this disassociation can only happen in two ways: defensive dissociation or true dissociation.

    • Defensive dissociation: When we artificially create psychological distance from an event. As we discussed in the Courage essay, this can only be achieved by negativity and hence hurts your Game.
    • True dissociation: This can only be true when you have zero interest in the girl. Simply put, it is a girl you fundamentally don’t like. The grannies, the fatties, etc.

It is there, plain and simple. If you are using excessive defensiveness, it is an Ego defence, and girls will smell it from a mile away. If you are truly disinterested, you shouldn’t be opening them. It is a meta-level weasel: you are hiding in a watered-down version of Daygame.

Take both observations together, and we can see that approach anxiety will always be present for the girls who matter. Precisely because they matter. It is unavoidable and structural.

    Inner Game and Courage

What’s the deal then? Does Inner Game not matter? Had we been sold a lie? Yes and no. Inner game is the inner maturity of dealing with emotional feedback (positive or negative), not avoiding responsibility of it. Inner game is controlling your emotions and inner psychology, not reducing it to unimportant. If you shut yourself off from the negative, you shut yourself off from the positive.

Good Inner Game is the understanding that temporal feelings don’t change your long-term life plan, long-term value, or what have you. You can deal with temporal changes, but this doesn’t mean you don’t feel them. Stop denying your feelings to yourself as an excuse for not addressing them.

In short, Inner Game is Courage. The only way to deal with approach anxiety is via Courage. It is about acknowledging the bad scenarios and being ready for them mentally. Not looking the other way altogether! Inner Game is Courage.
